Prior to coming to The Dogwood Inn for a stay, we require that you bring your companion in for an evaluation. We want to understand how to best make your companion comfortable and happy during their stay. We welcome any visits to The Dogwood Inn to become acquainted with our staff, facility, and grounds before registration. Please, call in advance to schedule you and your companion's visit with us at the Inn.
Evaluation
Vaccinations
All guests at the Inn must be current on their vaccinations against rabies, distemper and bordetella. All new guests should bring copies of their companion's current veterinary records at the time of evaluation.
A requirement prior to staying at the The Dogwood Inn is that your companion is spayed or neutered. Although our staff provides diligent oversight for each guest, our goal is to prevent any unwanted accidents from occuring.

Things to Bring
We encourage you to bring your own bedding* and food...your companion will appreciate the familiar smells and tastes during their stay. In addtion, a favorite toy such as a tug-of-war rope or ball can provide enjoyment and pleasure while being a guest at the Inn.
*Please note that all cages have comfortable bedding along with water and feeding bowls.
REQUIREMENTS
We only have a few simple requirements for guests to stay at the Inn. All of our guests must be current on their vaccinations, be either spayed or neutered, and must have an evaluation prior to their first visit. Please know that we uphold strict complience to these requirements.
